Buttercream Recipe
YES!
Of course this all depends on what type of buttercream recipe you are using. It has to be one that will crust over so the stencil doesn't stick to the base icing. Personally, I do not like buttercream that contains shortening, so I searched the internet for one that might be tasty as well as good for stenciling.
